It rained today, so I will talk about my love for rain.
I love rain. Too much. If it’s a thunder storm, even better.
There’s just something about the deep electricity that you feel when you watch it fall, and when the lightning begins, it’s terrifyingly beautiful. Followed by the sound of thunder it becomes a symphony of light and sound and it all comes together at once in it’s gradual crescendo.
I guess I feel more connected to nature than I do with any other type of weather.
You can hear the inner beat pulsing and pulsing until it fades off into the beautiful silence, only interrupted by it’s own echo…It’s more human than you would think.

So, sitting in my living room watching TV peacefully. My black lab Jake jumps up on my foot stool and begins licking my feet furiously, I try getting away but the beast pins me down, and this is where he starts to nibble my big toe.

Finally I slip out of his clutches and limp away with my went foot as he stares at me like “Why…Why would you leave me?”…You know why…You know why…
